We started Xymbolic as a core real estate company, and for For 5 years, our model was simple:

We bought large expanses of land, broke it down into smaller plots, designed estates, sold the land to investors, they owned it, and waited for appreciation or until they were ready to build.

We also designed building projects, constructed and sold them.

But we noticed something— people wanted more than just land ownership.

I’ll give you an idea of the numbers.

In May 2024, a 25L gallon of palm oil in Nigeria sold for about N40,000, this brings the price per litre to about N1600.

Now, one hectare of land should give you roughly 5400-11,250 Litres of oil per year, depending on the age of the tree and its yield. What this means is that 1 hectare could have given you 8-18million Naira in gross revenue last year, based on our calculations.

Now imagine that this revenue continues to come in for up to 30 years, and the whole cycle can be restarted again on the same land.

You can even pass on the asset to the next generation, and the generation after that.
